The Complete Brow Lamination Aftercare Guide

Brow lamination is one of our most popular treatments at K Beauty, and honestly, once you have had a set, it is hard to go back to anything else. Full, brushed up, groomed brows with absolutely no daily effort? Yes please.

But the first 24 hours after your appointment decide whether your brows last four weeks or eight. Here is the complete aftercare guide we give every client who walks out of our Wallsend studio.

The first 24 hours

This is the non negotiable bit. For the first full day after your Brow Lamination appointment:

• Keep your brows completely dry
• No steam, sauna, or hot showers
• No face washing around the brow area
• No skincare, serums, or makeup on the brows
• No touching, brushing, or fiddling

The lamination solution needs to fully set. Any moisture in the first 24 hours can break down the bonds and soften your results.

After 24 hours

Once you are past the first day, your brows are set. From here, simple habits keep them looking sharp for weeks.

Brush them daily. A quick sweep upward with a clean spoolie every morning keeps the shape neat and glossy.

Use the serum. We recommend a nourishing brow serum two to three times a week. Lamination is a chemical treatment, and your brow hairs will thank you for the conditioning. We stock ours in studio.

Avoid oil based products directly on the brow. Facial oils are fine, just keep them away from the brow area where possible.

What to expect week by week

Weeks one and two your brows will be at their peak. Glossy, full, set in shape.

Weeks three to five your brows start to soften slightly, which actually looks beautiful and natural.

Weeks six to eight you will notice regrowth and the lamination beginning to drop. Most of our clients in Wallsend and across Tyne and Wear rebook around the six to eight week mark.

Quick answers to common questions

Can I wear makeup? After 24 hours, yes. Use brow gels, powders, or pencils as normal. Brow soap works beautifully on laminated brows.

Can I get my brows wet? After 24 hours, absolutely. Swimming, showers, all fine.

Will lamination damage my brows? Not when applied correctly. We use professional grade solutions and time every lift precisely to your brow hair thickness. This is also why we include shaping and tinting in every appointment, so you are not left with a flat, overworked brow.

How often can I rebook? We recommend every six to eight weeks. Any more frequent can stress the hairs.
